Sault Canal Lock
As part of the Sault Canal National Historic Site of Parks Canada, the City of Sault Ste. Marie operates and maintains the Recreational Lock through a contractual agreement with the Federal Government.
The lock is 77 meters long (250 feet) by 15.4 meters wide (50 feet) with a minimum 3 meters draft (9.8 feet)
The Sault Ste. Marie Canal Lock is closed for repairs for the 2010 season.
