Canada Day Celebrations

Every year on July 1st, the Recreation and Culture Division coordinates activities at Roberta Bondar Park to celebrate Canada’s Birthday.  Festivities and entertainment begin in early afternoon and end with fireworks at dusk.

The Ontario Winter Carnival Bon Soo

The Supervisor of Recreation acts as the City of Sault Ste. Marie staff liaison working closely with the Bon Soo Board of Directors and staff to coordinate the carnival’s municipal facility and service requirements.
